Job summary

Fortress Door Company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customers, sales staff, and production teams. You will process orders, prepare quotations, coordinate deliveries, and provide exceptional service for commercial wood doors and related machining products.

You will review specifications, verify orders, and maintain accurate ERP data while collaborating with vendors and internal departments in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, manufacturing, millwork, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred (BisTrack/Epicor experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders for commercial wood doors, custom machining, and related products.
• Prepare quotations, order acknowledgements, and pricing information.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, production staff, and sales representatives regarding orders, lead times, deliveries, and product availability.
• Professionally answer and direct incoming phone calls while assisting customers with inquiries, orders, and general support.
• Review customer specifications and verify order accuracy prior to processing.
• Enter and maintain accurate order information within the company ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or material needs to appropriate personnel.
• Respond promptly to customer questions, concerns, and service issues.
• Maintain organized customer records, pricing sheets, and sales documentation.
• Assist with additional administrative and sales support duties as needed.
