Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Pennsylvania is seeking a General Laborer to support our door manufacturing line. You will rotate through tasks such as loading, assembling, and moving doors, while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

You will follow production schedules, monitor equipment, and perform measurements and basic calculations to ensure correct part dimensions. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong attendance record.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe work environment by following safety rules and embracing our Target Zero philosophy.
• Read, understand, and follow production schedules to ensure correct product is manufactured on time and in the right place.
• Follow production job orders and schematics; adjust equipment and ensure parameters are met.
• Gather materials as needed based on production schedules to maintain workflow.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to meet specifications.
• Communicate effectively to support product flow through the plant.
• Maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
