Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Halethorpe, MD location. The role focuses on preparing pricing proposals, supporting new sales opportunities, and providing technical information to the outside sales team to drive utility market sales.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in sales support or customer service, with experience in a target-driven environment and knowledge of plumbing industry practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a target-driven sales environment.
• Plumbing industry experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed pricing proposals and quotations for products and services across various projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids, researching projects, and assisting with prospecting efforts.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales representatives, supporting efforts to generate sales in the utility market segment.
• Oversee and support the full Order-to-Invoice cycle, ensuring quality standards are upheld.
