Job summary

White Cap is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Sales team. You will process orders across channels, assist customers, manage pricing, and coordinate procurement to meet client needs.

You will also handle payments securely, identify stock items and offer alternatives, and train junior staff to uphold service quality. This role is on-site in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; specialized skills or training may be required.
• Experience in inside sales, customer service or order processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP or order management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Processes orders across multiple channels (phone, email, text, counter) with accuracy.
• Manages basic pricing within established guidelines to maintain margins.
• Coordinates procurement and logistics for non-stock items to meet customer needs.
• Handles payments securely (credit card, check, cash).
• Identifies stock products and suggests alternatives to meet customer requirements.
• Ensures commitments through proactive coordination and follow-up with customers.
