Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Bangor, ME team. The role focuses on proactive inside sales via phone and email to grow profitable sales, build customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and pursue growth with existing customers.

You will support outside sales, leverage digital tools, and prospect new accounts within a defined territory. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Ability to handle basic/intermediate issues and problems.
• Basic/intermediate product and application knowledge essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery terms, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Sell using digital tools to promote products and answer questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Close orders and resolve customer issues using root-cause analysis.
