Qualifications

• Intermediate product and application knowledge essential.
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on an excellent customer experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone or in person to receive orders for products.
• Solicits sale of new or additional products.
• Liaison between the customer and QED departments, including credit purchasing, warehouse, outside sales and management.
• Determines make, type, and quality of merchandise by using product knowledge, catalogs, and reference materials.
• Provides quotes or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard, complex or non-standard merchandise.
• Prepares sales tickets with necessary details for processing and delivery.
• Estimates delivery dates based on schedules and availability.
• Purchases materials following approved purchasing procedures.
• Follows up on quotations to secure orders.
