Job summary

Dykman Electrical in Houston is seeking an Inside Sales professional to nurture customer relationships and fulfill orders in partnership with our Outside Sales team. You will respond to inquiries by phone and email, identify needs, and drive long-term profitable growth through customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include assisting with quotes, purchase and sales orders in Sage 100 ERP, coordinating trainings, and maintaining vendor relations.

Qualifications

• Listen to, and proactively identify, customer needs.
• Monitor order fulfillment and communicate potential problems or changes.
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships in person and on the phone.
• Determine and calculate product pricing and negotiate with customers.
• Coordinate and schedule trainings, road shows, and/or “lunch and learn” engagements.
• Work closely with the outside sales team to initiate and follow through with customer relationships to solve problems and achieve sales goals.
• No previous experience is required for this position but relevant experience is a plus.
