Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive proactive telephone and email sales and marketing efforts. You will build customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and grow profitability within your defined territory.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, customer focus, and collaboration with outside sales teams, with opportunities to expand accounts and contribute to growth across Rexel's national footprint.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and terms, offering substitution when appropriate.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, demonstrate products, and answer technical questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Manage customer base and maintain relationships.
• Learn and evaluate customer operations to identify objectives and preferences; close orders and resolve issues.
• Prepare quotations/proposals and follow up through purchasing cycle.
• Report market trends, pricing, products, and competitors to management.
• Attend product meetings, seminars, and training to enhance knowledge.
• Pursue product applications with internal resources and vendor reps.
• Other duties as assigned.
