Job summary

Triangle Fastener Corporation is hiring a detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative for its Richmond, VA branch. You will be the first contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries, supporting both customers and the Outside Sales team by managing quotes, orders, and day-to-day service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales-based customer service, HS diploma or GED, and a willingness to grow from entry-level to higher levels in Sales, Operations, and Management.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in sales-based customer service or related position.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: 3+ years in inside sales or similar position

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and in person.
• Handle walk-in sales and guide customers through product selections.
• Enter and process orders with precision and speed.
• Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to meet demand.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and provide updates to customers.
• Support Outside Sales by managing backend processes and follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean showroom and promote featured products.
• Address and resolve customer issues proactively and professionally.
• Prepare and send product samples, catalogs, and credit applications.
• Review open sales reports and ensure data integrity.
• Pull counter orders to ensure timely service.
