Job summary

Carter Lumber Company in Ohio is seeking an Inside Sales Rep who will be the face of the store, helping customers, sharing product knowledge, and producing project estimates. You will handle transactions, follow up on online quotes, qualify new leads, support the Outside Sales Reps, and help manage inventory through cycle counts.

Salary plus commission offers uncapped earning potential. Experience in sales or customer service is preferred; you should be friendly, a strong communicator, a team

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and achieve sales goals.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and share product information.
• Provide advice on project needs and produce estimates for packages/projects.
• Process transactions and follow up on online quotes.
• Qualify new leads through cold calling and support Outside Sales Reps as needed.
• Assist in inventory control with cycle counts and resolving overages/shortages.
