Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support the branch sales team and drive order activity. You will quote, promote building products, and ensure clear communication with customers about orders and delivery dates.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This position offers base pay with commission and company benefits, working onsite within the Davenport, FL area.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to convert inbound inquiries into actual sales.
• Overcome technical and business objections for prospective customers.
• Emphasize salable features, quote prices, and prepare sales orders.
• Make outbound sales calls based on plans from Sales Manager or GM.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Estimate delivery dates based on product knowledge, orders, and schedules.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems, including warranty service.
• Update customers of changes to promised delivery dates.
• Enter new customer data and other sales data into the database.
