Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our Augusta branch. You will quote prices, process orders, and promote our building materials program while keeping customers informed on delivery dates.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of sales experience, strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and the ability to build relationships over the phone. An associate degree is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Convert inbound inquiries into sales with customers.
• Overcome technical and business objections for prospective customers.
• Emphasize salable features, quote prices, and prepare sales orders.
• Make outbound sales calls based on activity plans.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Estimate delivery dates based on product knowledge and schedules.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems, including warranty service.
• Update customers of any changes to promised delivery dates.
• Enter new customer data and other sales data into the database.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate with buyers on product shortages or quality issues.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
