• Active listening: Directing the conversation through purposeful questions - listening closely enough to catch what's really behind a prospect's words, then asking the next question that keeps the call moving toward a decision, rather than letting the prospect control the pace or direction
• Objection handling: Treating an objection as a symptom, not the real problem - using questions to uncover what's actually behind it (budget, trust, timing, fit) rather than immediately countering with a rebuttal, so the root concern gets addressed instead of just the surface one
