Inside Sales Rep position

Objective

The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Rep is to make B2B outbound sales calls to prospective clients (offering janitorial and non-janitorial services), qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for our field sales team.

Essential Functions
  • Find and research businesses that would benefit from City Wide's services.
  • Make 50-100 sales calls and emails per day to prospective clients.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for City Wide’s outside sales team.
  • Manage and update the CRM database thoroughly, including scheduled calls, client records, notes, and appointments.
  • Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as defined.
  • Achieve monthly activity and lead generation metrics to meet revenue targets.
  • Send information requested by prospects, along with thank you notes and follow-up letters when appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
  • Compensation based on experience.
  • Training program and potential career progression into outside sales.
Requirements
  • High school diploma; college degree preferred. 6+ months B2B outbound call center or similar experience in prospecting and cold calling is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized, able to follow systematic methods and sales processes.
  • Customer service-oriented with effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
