Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to interact with existing customers to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services, obtain and up-sell orders, and add value to the customer's buying experience. You will collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are met.

This role includes the opportunity to earn commission in addition to base salary, with earnings tied to your individual sales performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales and sales administration experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel 0–25%.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter orders via email and phone, verify items and manage fulfillment.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items based on buying history.
• Own, qualify and develop opportunities from marketing and outside sales.
• Identify ways to improve processes and prepare quotations.
• Review open orders and manage items at risk of delivery dates.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and notify customers.
• Report market trends, pricing, and customer feedback to management.
