Richards Building Supply in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be the backbone of our contractor and professional customer relationships. You will advise on products, process orders, and coordinate with Outside Sales to drive sales while ensuring accurate records and timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales, retail, or distribution.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM experience a plus).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and help them select the right products.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via phone and in-person.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to drive sales and resolve customer needs.
• Process orders, track inventory, and coordinate product transfers.
• Inform customers about promotions and industry trends to maximize sales.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
