Southwire Company is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support electrical distribution in the West. The role handles orders, quotes and inquiries while maintaining customer relationships and accurate records.

You will reference inventory and contracts to determine pricing and product selections, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. Ideal candidates have 2–7 years of sales experience, proficiency with Salesforce, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–4 years of sales experience; 5–7 years noted in the listing.
• Experience with CRM, Salesforce and order entry processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and upsell skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine product selections and pricing based on inventory and terms.
• Enter orders, create quotes and follow up to ensure accuracy.
• Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities from buying patterns.
• Handle calls and emails from distributors, contractors and users.
• Record transactions in CRM/ERP and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Escalate issues and gather product feedback for service improvement.
• Prepare sales materials and maintain customer records for training.
