Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek's, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. You will quote prices, provide product dimensions, and handle orders in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries on product selection, placing orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and growing relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in building material industry preferred.
• Inside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales representatives.
• Provide quotes and product dimension information, both in person and over the phone.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and obtain orders.
• Enter work orders, credit returns, return authorizations, pick tickets, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; obtain pricing specs, uses and availability.
• Manage project schedules by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders and resolve outstanding issues; solve billing problems and compile data for closing.
• Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
