Job summary

Ferguson in Dayton, OH is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support pricing, bids, and customer communication. The role covers warehouse, yard, counter, and administrative duties in a multi-site environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Candidates with warehouse or waterworks experience and strong organizational skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a sales support or customer service role.
• Experience in a target-driven sales environment preferred.
• Waterworks or construction environment experience is a plus.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage pricing proposals and quotations for projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids and researching projects.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales reps.
• Maintain customer documentation with product details and solutions.
• Act as liaison between customers and internal teams for orders and issues.
• Oversee order-to-invoice cycle and ensure quality and compliance.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Attend to training in warehouse, yard, and sales counter.
