Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who will generate leads, advance the sales process, close new business and help achieve opportunity-based quotas. The role involves researching leads, reaching targets by phone and email, and supporting outside sales with administrative tasks.

Located in Salt Lake City, UT or Phoenix, AZ, this exempt position reports to the Director of Regional Sales with a clear path for revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales or relevant industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Cold-call or outreach to generate new leads and opportunities.
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
• Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients to grow volumes.
• Identify decision makers to begin the sales process.
• Collaborate with team members on strategic sales approaches.
• Grow customers into larger accounts where possible.
• Maintain and expand the database of prospects and customers.
• Aim to achieve revenue growth goals.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
