Security Equipment Supply, Inc. (SES) is hiring an Inside Sales Associate in Detroit, MI. You will build and maintain relationships with existing customers and pursue new business, delivering product solutions and exceptional service.

The role involves outbound calls, in-person visits, and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Logistics to meet revenue and margin goals while growing SES’s market presence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in sales, outside sales, SES experience and/or business development.
• Three years of related experience or equivalent mix of education/experience in sales, outside sales, SES experience and/or business development.
• Should have or seek to obtain thorough understanding of low voltage products and solutions.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with current customers to generate incremental business.
• Make outbound calls and visits to prospects within assigned area and follow up on leads.
• Touch base with customers monthly or as needed.
• Follow quotes and orders, resolve customer issues and coordinate with internal teams.
• Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Logistics.
• Maintain up-to-date industry and product knowledge through training.
