Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to maintain and grow its customer base, provide consistent customer service, and increase sales and margin across contractor, government, commercial, and industrial accounts.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1–2 years counter experience in electrical distribution preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Eclipse knowledge preferred.
• Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of project orders.
• Serve contractor, government, commercial and industrial customers.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers.
• Set up certain customers on blankets.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Help counter with sales.
• Courtesy and politeness toward customers.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
• Other duties as required.
