Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Maryland Heights, MO location. The role focuses on proactive inside sales and marketing efforts to increase profitable sales by maintaining relationships, processing quotes and orders, and pursuing growth from our customer base.

Expectations include product knowledge, responding to technical questions, and supporting outside sales. Work hours are 7am–4pm, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specs, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products and answer questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Close orders and resolve customer issues using root-cause analysis.
