Job summary

Rexel USA inside sales team seeks an experienced professional to drive proactive phone and email sales, manage quotes and orders, and expand our customer base. You will build lasting relationships, pursue product knowledge, and support growth across the territory.

Work hours are 7am to 4pm with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, leveraging CRM and ERP tools, and collaborating with outside sales to maximize profitable sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Ability to handle basic/intermediate issues and problems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer oriented and motivated with ability to drive decisions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products, answer technical questions, and increase business.
• Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Learn and evaluate customer operations to identify objectives and requirements; close orders and resolve issues using root-cause analysis.
• Process quotations/proposals and provide continuous follow up throughout purchasing cycle.
• Gather and report market information to management regarding competitors, pricing, products, and trends.
• Participate in product meetings, training to enhance knowledge.
• Pursue product applications utilizing internal resources and vendor reps.
