Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep for our Fluid Solutions branch in the United States. You will be the key customer contact, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders based on customer needs.

The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering service excellence and supporting branch growth. You will process quotations, establish new rental and sales accounts, educate customers on equipment use, and coordinate with branch teams to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and diligent attention to safety.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including electric and hydraulic pumps.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
