Job summary

United Rentals in Decatur, Alabama, is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch to serve as a key customer contact, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for equipment and services. You will focus on fluid solutions equipment rental and supply needs, build relationships, provide outstanding customer service, and drive sales and branch growth.

This role requires strong teamwork, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office; a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions products and applications preferred.
• Ability to sell, quote, and fulfill orders.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered products and services.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties as needed.
