Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep for our Fluid Solutions branch. You will consult with customers, quote and fulfill orders for equipment and services, and focus on fluid solutions rentals and supplies.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, customer service, and driving branch growth. Responsibilities include learning the rental business, processing quotes, establishing accounts, educating customers, coordinating with staff, and maintaining inventory records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered products and services (electric/hydraulic pumps).
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations.
• Maintain inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties as needed.
