United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch in Decatur, AL. You will be a key customer contact and consultant, recommending solutions, quoting and fulfilling orders for equipment and services based on customer needs.

This role emphasizes building relationships, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with branch staff, learn our product line, and advance your sales career in a safety‑minded, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Establish an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including electric and hydraulic pumps
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk‑in and call‑in customers
• Educate customers about proper equipment use
• Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns
• Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets
• Other duties assigned as needed
