Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep - SST to actively grow district revenue by delivering world‑class service, processing rental quotes and reservations, and supporting contract needs. You will respond to inbound calls, review equipment requests, and propose solutions meeting customer requirements in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong relationship-building and customer service skills, multitasking ability, and a self-starter

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent, self-starter with strong self-imposed structure.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls in a consistent, professional manner.
• Review equipment requests and propose suitable solutions.
• Negotiate rental rates per pricing policies and procedures.
• Identify leads for new business and relay to field personnel.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate solutions across teams.
• Communicate delivery needs promptly to Logistics Manager/Dispatcher.
