United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep - SST to proactively increase revenue by delivering exceptional customer service, processing rental quotes, and managing reservations. You will support district objectives and strive for World-Class service and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes responding to inquiries, negotiating rates, and identifying new business opportunities, with a focus on meeting customer needs and driving growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent, self-starter with strong structure.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls in a consistent, professional manner.
• Review equipment requests and propose suitable solutions.
• Negotiate rental rates per policy and procedures.
• Identify leads for new business and relay to field personnel.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate solutions with staff.
• Communicate delivery needs to Logistics/Dispatcher.
• Call on dormant accounts to generate business.
• Other duties as assigned.
