Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to interact with existing customers, drive sales of Wesco products and services, and enhance the customer buying experience. You will create, obtain, and up-sell orders, focusing on proactive selling and collaboration with outside sales to meet goals.

Responsibilities include handling orders via email/phone, expanding accounts, preparing quotations, reviewing order progress, and reporting market feedback. Travel is 0–25%.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience and professional contribution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with basic computer tasks
• Ability to identify opportunities and manage multiple tasks concurrently

Responsibilities

• Obtain and upsell orders via email and phone, verify items, and transfer to fulfillment.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items and leveraging customer history.
• Own, qualify, and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Prepare, generate, and follow up on quotations to secure orders or determine reasons for loss.
• Review open order reports and take action on items at risk of late delivery.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and inform customers accordingly.
• Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
