Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience or related role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders via email and calls; verify entries; transfer to fulfillment and explain stock dates.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items and checking buying history.
• Own, qualify and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Identify ways to improve processes and efficiency.
• Prepare quotations to secure orders or determine reasons for lost orders.
• Review open order reports and act on items at risk of delivery.
• Maintain backorder reports and notices and notify customers.
• Report industry trends and competitive pricing to management.
