Job summary

MidCape Home Centers in Dennis, MA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. You will prepare quotes, share product dimensions, and respond to inquiries by phone or in person.

You will enter orders, process returns, coordinate deliveries, and help manage stock and pricing. The role emphasizes developing customer relationships, solving issues, and ensuring timely service across six Massachusetts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in building materials or inside sales preferred.
• Ability to operate computer, calculator, and cash register.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of building supplies and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, pricing, quotes, deliveries and installations.
• Initiate calls to generate sales.
• Enter orders, returns, credits, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products and obtain pricing/specifications.
• Manage project schedules with outside sales, jobsites and assigned customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Resolve back orders and billing issues as needed.
• Handle special orders and pricing; assist with price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
