Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek’s, Divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. The role involves quoting, product information, and coordinating deliveries and installations.

You will respond to inquiries, initiate calls to generate sales, and manage orders, pricing, and paperwork while maintaining strong customer relationships and inventory control on the shop floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years in building material industry preferred.
• 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with inventory and product applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries on product selection, orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
• Initiate outbound calls to generate sales.
• Enter work orders, returns, ROA, return authorization, pick ticket, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; obtain pricing specifications, uses and availability.
• Manage project schedules by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check on back orders and resolve outstanding issues; resolve billing problems and compile data for closing.
• Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
