Job summary

Steel Technologies is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to deliver superior customer service, manage the order book, and proactively collaborate with the Support Team and customers. The role requires coordination with Account Managers, Buyers, and Outside Sales, ensuring customer requirements are met and orders flow smoothly from inception to payment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background with inventory and order management exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of customer needs and communicate them within the team to ensure great customer service.
• Manage the order book, input/update forecasts, and process orders from inception to payment.
• Back-up for other team members and promote collaboration and learning within the team.
• Interact face-to-face with team members to foster growth and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
