Job summary

PSS Industrial Group is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Support professional in Houston to prepare quotes, convert quotes to orders in ERP, and coordinate delivery. You will source from approved vendors, communicate with customers and partners, and maintain pricing and records in ERP and Excel.

A strong emphasis on accuracy and timely updates. Experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles is preferred; early-career or recent grads encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales or customer service roles.
• Experience working with customers or outside sales partners.
• Industry experience in related fields beneficial but not required.
• Early-career and recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotes for bills of material and customer requests.
• Convert approved quotes to sales orders in ERP and track through delivery.
• Source products from approved vendors to meet specs and delivery dates.
• Communicate proactively with customers, vendors, and teams.
• Partner with outside sales to grow accounts.
• Maintain pricing, quotes, orders, records in ERP and Excel.
• Track quotes and orders, identify risks, and coordinate solutions.
• Balance revenue growth with margins and service expectations.
• Build knowledge of data center construction and market conditions.
• Support regional goals and incentive programs.
