PSS Cross Country Infrastructure Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking an inside sales professional to quote bills of materials and customer requests, convert quotes to orders, and manage end-to-end order flow from quote to delivery.

The role emphasizes proactive communication with customers, vendors, and outside sales, along with sourcing from approved vendors and maintaining accurate records in ERP and Excel. You will balance revenue growth with margins and support regional performance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, order management, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication with timely updates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotes for bills of material and customer requests within established timelines.
• Convert approved quotes into sales orders in the ERP system and monitor through shipment.
• Source products and materials from approved vendors to meet specs, pricing, and delivery dates.
• Communicate proactively with customers, vendors, outside sales reps, peers, and operations teams.
• Partner with outside sales to develop new relationships and expand offerings.
• Track quotes and orders, identify risks or delays, and coordinate timely solutions.
• Balance revenue growth with gross margin and service expectations.
