Join a customer-focused sales support team where you will help keep the order process moving from initial inquiry through fulfillment. This role combines inside sales support, customer service, order coordination and cross-functional communication, offering hands-on exposure to the full customer order cycle in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle customer questions related to pricing, order progress, delivery timing, expedited requests and proof of delivery.
• Create quotations and verify pricing, product requirements, lead times and supporting details for accuracy.
• Prepare, review and enter customer orders, including order acknowledgements and packing documentation.
• Coordinate with planning and other internal groups to confirm material availability, production needs and expected delivery dates.
• Process order revisions, returns, credits, consignment activity and replenishment requests following established procedures.
• Develop specification documentation from customer requirements, samples or survey information.
• Maintain accurate customer, order and service records within applicable business systems.
• Follow up with customers after selected shipments or service issues and elevate quality, delivery or order concerns when needed.
• Support the sales function with customer follow-up, reporting, administrative coordination and related activities.
• Build productive relationships with customers and internal partners while providing responsive, professional service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, order management or a similar customer-facing support role; manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales or a related discipline is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email and web-based business tools; ERP experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotes, entering orders and maintaining documentation.
• Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple deadlines and follow through in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong problem-solving, time-management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle challenging customer situations tactfully.
• Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
