Confidential is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead the inside sales team in Birmingham, AL, directing sales strategies and driving achievement of targets for new and existing accounts. The role emphasizes leadership, analytics, CRM-driven improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product development, and service teams.

The candidate will mentor IAM, BDM and LQS specialists, set ambitious goals, monitor performance, and ensure a high-performing, compliant sales culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B industrial sales experience.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment such as electric motors, gear reducers, motor controls and/or generators.
• Demonstrated success in leadership and team motivation.
• Experience developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue and market penetration.
• Ability to monitor performance and ensure compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, motivate, train, and manage a team of inside sales representatives, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to enhance their skills, product knowledge and performance.
• Create and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Set clear sales targets and performance metrics, monitor team performance, and conduct regular reviews to ensure alignment with sales goals.
• Utilize sales analytics, phone data and CRM activities to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance sales processes.
• Work closely with marketing, outside sales, product development, supply chain and customer services teams to ensure cohesive sales efforts and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure current processes are in place that results in a best-in-class customer experience.
• Leverage existing technology to enhance team performance.
