Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is seeking an Inside fastener sales representative in Sioux Falls, SD. You will work with Outside Sales Reps and customers to source products, generate quotes and fulfill orders while using supplier sites and catalogs to source non-stock items.

You will review open orders for supply chain issues, coordinate inventory transfers across branches, and provide proactive follow-up and strong customer service. Strong MS Office and CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of B2B sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM/database systems
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist Outside Sales Reps with quotes and orders ensuring customer satisfaction
• Provide a high level of customer service and timely follow-up
• Use the internet, catalogs and websites to source new suppliers and products
• Review open orders for potential supply chain issues
• Coordinate inventory transfers to replenish stock across branches
• Process incoming orders via phone, email and text to create quotes and orders
• Support marketing efforts such as trade shows and events
• Communicate Echo divisions and capabilities to customers
• Submit expense records/documents promptly
• Inform Warehouse Manager of inventory discrepancies and large orders
• Work with suppliers to submit, track and return tool repairs
• Occasionally assist with purchasing from various suppliers
• Assist store front staff with fastener questions and orders
