Job summary

Echo Electric, part of Sonepar, seeks an Inside fastener sales representative in Sioux Falls to work with outside reps and customers. You will source non-stock items, generate quotes and orders, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, CRM knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. This on-site role supports local branches with stock transfers and order processing.

Qualifications

• Bright, energetic professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Word, Excel and Outlook, CRM systems.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Outside Sales Reps with quotes and orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide high level customer service in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
• Source new suppliers and products using internet catalogs and supplier websites.
• Review open orders for potential supply chain issues and communicate accordingly.
• Review inventory across branches and coordinate stock transfers or purchasing.
• Process incoming mobile orders, emails, calls and texts to create quotes and orders.
• Provide solutions and product recommendations matching customer needs; support events as needed.
• Communicate Echo divisions and capabilities to customers; submit expense records promptly.
• Inform Warehouse Manager of inventory discrepancies and large orders.
• Assist with purchasing product from suppliers and help front counter staff with questions.
