SCI is seeking a Family Service Counselor in Des Plaines, IL to serve funeral service families by arranging at-need and pre-need plans and delivering compassionate, personalized care. You will be the primary contact for families and contribute to revenue through attentive service.

Your responsibilities include generating leads, building relationships, coordinating with funeral directors and staff, and ensuring smooth delivery of solutions that meet each family's needs, with a focus on empathy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must pass internal presentation certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: prospect daily, obtain referrals, network locally, present to families.
• Build relationships: respond to inquiries, listen, and tailor solutions.
