Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sales Representative to own bookings and drive new business growth for a metal casting product line from an office-based seat. You will prospect, follow up on RFQs, and manage the full sales process, collaborating with engineering support.

The role requires a college degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Training and a defined selling process are provided.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven inside sales experience with closing new business is a plus.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn engineered products.
• Strong listening, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Daily CRM discipline.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own bookings and new business growth for a process industry product line, mainly via virtual selling from an office seat.
• Build and run prospecting and lead follow up plans across new and existing customers.
• Win new accounts through network and targeted outreach.
• Develop sales plans aligned with plant strategy and capacity.
• Follow up on RFQs to understand customer needs and close orders.
• Manage entire account sales process from pre-call planning to proposal and close.
• Maintain relationships with key decision makers and keep CRM current for pipeline visibility.
