Job summary

Rubrik is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our North East team, supporting regional revenue goals through technical leadership and pre-sales activities. You will evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for mid-market and small-business customers, collaborating with Field and Sales Engineering to drive deals and customer success.

You will manage technical calls and demos, qualify opportunities, and partner with Account Executives

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of sales engineering experience preferably in software or data center environments.
• Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to customers and internal staff in pre‑sales activities supporting 2-3 Account Executives.
• Demonstrate Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in SAN spaces.
• Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities based on customer requirements and budget.
