Job summary

Rubrik is seeking Inside Sales Engineers to join a growing team. You will receive on-the-job training with Field and Sales Engineering colleagues and help evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for a mix of mid-market and small business customers.

In this role you will lead technical sales calls, deliver demonstrations, and develop integrated technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of sales engineering experience in software or data center environment.
• Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge across cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to customers and internal staff in the development of integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities.
• Support 2-3 Account Executives across assigned North East territories.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the SAN product space.
• Acts as a technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions meeting technology and business requirements.
• Leads technical sales calls and presentations to channel partners and customers’ technical staff and senior management.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and internal resources on technical issues or business applications.
• Builds relationships with the account team, partners and customers to support sales objectives and leverages resources as appropriate.
• Qualifies sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, decision process, and funding.
