Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer based in the Northeastern United States to provide technical direction and business guidance to our SLED sales team.

You will be accountable for regional revenue goals by driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account activities, evangelizing and architecting Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for a diverse mix of enterprise, mid-market, and small business customers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Driven – highly energetic with a strong hands-on, 'can do' approach.
• Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, 'get it done' attitude.
• Experience moving fast in a deal-driven environment with multiple calls/demos per day.
• Experience working with CxO-level personnel to bring technology solutions to business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in pre-sales activities.
• Assists in analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, and competitive storage offerings.
• Acts as technical expert to develop and propose solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Makes technical and sales presentations to customer staff and senior management.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
