Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer based in the Northeast to drive technical direction for our SLED sales team, accountable for regional revenue by leading pre-sales programs and day-to-day account activities.

You will evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for a diverse mix of enterprise, mid-market, and small business customers in the region, emphasizing data protection and cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of sales engineering experience in software or data center environments.
• Strong hands-on, entrepreneurial attitude and fast-paced work style.
• Broad knowledge of cloud data management, backup, disaster recovery, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to customers and pre-sales teams.
• Assist in developing fully integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrate Rubrik’s products, architectures, and competitive storage offerings to staff and executives.
• Propose solutions meeting technology and business requirements.
• Conduct technical and sales presentations to customer staff and senior management.
• Build relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities based on customer needs and buying process.
