Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer based in the Northeastern United States to drive technical direction for the SLED sales team. You will lead pre-sales activities, demonstrate Rubrik’s hyper-converged platform, and craft integrated solutions for enterprise, mid-market, and small business customers across the region.

You will engage with CXO-level customers, manage multiple demos daily, and collaborate with the sales team to achieve regional revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Driven – need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, "can do" approach.
• Breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, "get it done" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in pre-sales activities.
• Assists in the analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates technical leadership on Rubrik’s products and competitive storage offerings in the SAN space.
• Acts as technical expert to develop and propose solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Makes technical and sales presentations to customer staff and senior management.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
