Job summary

Caltrol is hiring Inside Sales Engineers for our growing team. This position may be based in Las Vegas, NV; Chandler, AZ; Ontario, CA; or Livermore, CA.

Caltrol's Inside Sales Engineers combine technical expertise with strong business acumen to help customers solve process automation challenges. They serve as a link between customers, sales, and technical resources by engineering, sizing, quoting, and supporting valves, actuators, and instrumentation solutions.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a STEM field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience interpreting technical specs, drawings, data sheets, or customer needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn CRM/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, size, and select valves, actuators, and instrumentation solutions.
• Analyze requirements to recommend technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and follow up on opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers and provide responsive support throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with account managers, order management, and shop teams to ensure order execution.
