Job summary

The Inside Sales Engineer at Carrier Enterprise will provide technical sales support for commercial HVAC contractor customers, helping them configure, price, and quote solutions. You will partner with the commercial sales team to present equipment and parts, respond to inquiries, prepare bids, and drive growth with a focus on service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical field and 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and basic understanding of electrical/mechanical control systems.
• Maintain expert-level product knowledge and strong communication.
• Experience with CRM/database tools and contractors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business opportunities and generate quotes for commercial sales.
• Assist Account Managers with new and existing accounts and introduce new products to engineers and contractors.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs for commercial projects.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to finalize the sale.
• Engage with customers, manufacturers, and the sales team via phone and email.
• Assist with training for our Commercial dealers as needed.
• Resolve customer issues in alignment with company values and objectives.
• Identify sales opportunities to drive future growth.
• Travel as needed with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade shows.
